We recently bought TeamSpec and it works great until we import an HTML field into Word.  All the html shows in word as raw html.  This makes TeamSpec completely unusable for us since all our description fields are HTML fields.  Is there a way for TeamSpec to show HTML from TFS properly in Word?

Hello Chris,

Supporting more in depth HTML/RTF has been a highly requested feature and it is definitely something we are working on.  We are working diligently with the Microsoft Word team to get all the problems hammered through that arise when trying to support complex views inside Content Controls.  Secondly, HTML (and other Rich Text) is very difficult to parse correctly in WordML and really know when there has been a "difference" between the document and the server.  There are many ways in WordML to represent the same visual result to the end user, and without the absolute perfect logic erroneous "Out of Sync" warnings will plague the document.  We do intent to support this functionality, and I am pleased to let you know that this is the #1 priority on our plate right now.  Unfortunately it will be a few weeks until we are ready with something to address this problem.  Our best people are trying to tackle the problem as we speak.

I hope this gives you reassurance that we are addressing your problems and plan to get this supported in a more user friendly way as soon as possible.

Cheers,
~Joe
